Hey guys, new member here with my first car. A late 2014 Citroen C1 Airscape Flair. It has the 1.2 Puretech engine, which is decently capable at pulling the car along.
Just going to use this topic as a place for me to ask any questions, show off anything and other general stuff
Always fun to just floor it from 30-60mphImage

Welcome aboard buddy! I spy a cabriolet roof, always fancied one of those like the old Mk1 Renault Twingo!

The roof is amazing! Anytime it isn't raining the roof is back, it could be -5 but I will still have that roof open. Also nice to always brag about having a "convertible"

Good man, proper convertible driving in that case! Must make the cabin of a C1 feel a lot more open, but still safe seeing as the doors still have their frames and what not.

Got any plans for it?

Yep exactly, completely changes the driving experience
Sadly not at the moment, being 17 if I even thought about modifying it the insurance company would kill me with increased premiums. However, I am thinking of putting blue LEDs around the footwell, like under the dashboard, just to add a bit of colour to the cabin. Family thinks it is "chavvy" though...

It's like having two cars in one :p

That makes sense though insurance will always be a pain as they always find excuses to keep raising premiums :L Depending on who you're with some will be better than others, depending what mods you do as it's usually anything affecting power that makes a difference, or so they say..

I'm on both sides with the blue LED set up, part of me thinks yeah, your car will be one step closer to resembling a club in Ibiza, but part of me likes that as it makes it more inviting :p There will be little improvements you can make that aren't classed as mods, such as changing the headlight bulbs to brighter models, especially with the early nights we now have and painting trims, imagination is the only limitation!

Yep, certianly is
Would rather wait until my insurance comes down to less than £1000 before I forget anything too extensive
Yeah, I have also been told it would be illegal and I would be ticketed if the police saw it at night... Yes good point, will probably do something with the coloured plastic on the dashboard at some point.

Should be fairly easy to pop off, then it's a case of if you want to sand it down, primer, paint and lacquer or wrap it. If you have the means there's always hydro dipping too. Either way it'd be one way to jazz the interior up!
