A Christmas present for my self in a red Peugeot 107 auto from 2010. 72 000 km and a full service book. Have been driving old Saab 9-5 auto for many years. I really like this small car in every way. The compact size and low costs. Drives really well even on the high way. Compare it to bigger cars is not something one should do and I don't. I take the car for what it is and drive it smiling! :)

Nice car! They are great little cars. I don't see myself moving away from them anytime soon, I've never had a major problem with them and I've got 3!

50 000 km later.

A wheel bearing that the insurance covered. The gasket in the gearbox to the clutch was leaking oil to the clutch and slipping as a result. And again the insurance covered it. New gasket and a new clutch on a car soon passing 10 years that had traveled 118 000 km. That's a good insurance i say that can cover that. About 5,2 liters/100 km is what the car consumes with my kind of driving. 120 000 km now and i have no planes whatsoever to get another car.

Tinted rear windows! :) Went for 95% tint. Can't see in.

Next plan is a new head unit with 7" screen. I have one but it's really rubbish. Gotta get a good one this time. I think i've found a good one Android based. Alternatively i can pay really big money and get a typ Kenwood or Pioneer but no i'm not really a fanatic about the sound in the car. I just want a 7" unit with GPS, bluetooth and those things. IGO Primo navigation or the chinese cracked version of it works really nice I think.

Nice, love the tinted rear windows, it's on my list too.

If you don't really care about the sound quality then a Chinese one will suffice. Joyking seems to be a good and popular brand, and can be shipped from Germany, Spain or UK, so you don't have any custom fee.

I bought this. https://geek.wish.com/product/5c166f705e05666c2af66c7f

Seems to have good reviews. It's a jungle out there. Same unit sold by different chinese stores and other places like ebay with yet another brand. Advertising things that is a standard feature is common by the chinese. The pictures of things in the descriptions is out of this world. One thing I've learned is that the android based units are better. The other ones based on Win CE 6.0 something is rubbish in my opinion. The one i have (Win CE 6.0 based) can't seem to lower the display brightness when in the navigation app.

I've search for an solution for days at a time for a year and tried everything including modifying the sys.txt file that controls things but no luck. Between the searches I've used the stock radio unit. The support from the chines store is no good. They say that i should get the unit to a repair shop! Try to find one in Sweden... ;) Maybe it's actually broken, I don't know.

Now I got tired of it and ordered the one above.

The head unit I ordered above had a preinstalled app that didn't work. When complaining about that they gave my a full refund! :) The unit itself was actually really bad. Slow and not responsive at all so i'm happy that i got the full refund.

Now i've got yet another head unit. Atoto A6 and it works just fine. I went for the priciest one with the best display and gestures. Always starts from sleep in 2 sec and everything works. Connects to the phone with no issues everytime and likewise with the wifi to hotspot from my phone. Carwebguru launcher is the shit! The stock launcher looks like something from 1980.
