Toyota designed what's called an acis... Back in 1989 Which basically at a certain revs opens up an extra section in the air intake to increase air volume, this gives a vtec feel at 4.5k

It should deaden the sound to a lower tone.

Mine is quite loud tbh but just quiet enough to not do you nut in on motorways

So as mentioned before it needs alot of work. Coming up in the 2 months will be.

*Dicks and pads on the front. Just gonna put some OEM ones on rather than black diamond again. I only got 2 years out of them
*brake fluid change
*Ill repaint the calipers while they are off.
*ABS fault has developed for a second time so that will need to be sorted hoping it s the other side this time i replace the NSF sensor last year. Will just plug it i to my Computer
*steel wheels and tyres for the other half to learn to drive
*Gear cables replacement and clutch adjustment
*2 new headlights
*replacement landing panel
*NSF bonnet hinge

So a decent wee list haha keeps me busy
