Yeah behind the plate and it is like 2 bolts on the top and the bottom and this plasticy thing in the middle

useful bit of information - managed to adjust the bite height of my clutch today back to sensible level and it took about 30 seconds from start to finish.... brilliant - thank you!

Is it worth doing this even if your clutch is still in good health? (sorry if this has already been asked, or is a stupid question)

Yep - check your clutch freeplay regularly. If it's in the 20-25mm range, you're on target. Adjust if for freeplay, never for pedal height or feel.

I was having trouble with my clutch slipping and when I measured it the freeplay was quite a bit more than it should have been (around 5cm instead of 2-2.5cm).
I've adjusted it back into that range by turning the wheel anticlockwise (looking from the front) but the problem still hasn't gone.
It doesn't seem to slip on starting off or when i drop it into 4th at 20mph and floor it - only when I put my foot down in 4th at around 50mph or in 5th at 70mph.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the issue might be? I was half expecting the adjustment to solve the issue but then again I don't want to get a new clutch if it's not at fault!

If its still slipping you will probably need a new clutch!

the bare min freeplay should be 18mm.... i have mine at that or just shy of it.
