Oh , That's grim ....

Underneath the car and reach up over the back of the box?

Yes it's a bit awkward to get at as you can't see it, especially when you've got your arm in the way. It's under the gearchange cables a bit further down (not far though). It is behind a plate of some sort but you can feel it as it has a knurled ring. It needs turning clockwise (looking from the front) to lower the pedal height. I've done it with trial and error and its' been fine. (so far)

My Clutch is dead high too and looking under the bonnet today not sure if this is the right area, but found 2 cables next to each other on the right and then put my hand under/to the end of those cables and felt like a bolt/screwy type thing but it would not move when I tried to turn it.

Is this the right thing to turn by the sounds of it and if so, what is best to loosen it WD40?

Any help would be great thanks.

Once you get it going it will move, turn it clockwise (looking from the front) a few turns. WD40 might help get it going.

I'm sure I have found it as this is behind a plate and it feels like 2 screws in the plate and then this in the middle with a rod coming from it, I have soaked it in dw40 but still not moving lol :roll:

I might get my little sister to press the clutch when I have the bonnet it open, or try the screwdriver idea.

So after 2 hours of me and my brother having a go to move this bolt/screw thing we got it to move about halfway round but still dead stiff, we even tried taking the wheel off and putting the car up on the jack to get a better grip, but not much joy so we gave in after that.

It is a bit lower then it was but nothing great, so he said next time I go to garage to ask them about changing it for me, seems to be stuck on so tight. :evil:
