The latest limited-edition "Sportium" petrol manual boasts a figure of 103, down 3 from the 2008 facelift which was 2 or 3 lower that the first series model.
The proposed facelift due at the end of year will surely be below the 100 level meaning no road-tax.

ps. Citroen and Toyota models remain 106.

Cheeky buggers! The Sportium is a copy of my wee car, minus the stripes. Mind you, is 0.07 of an MPG improvement likely to be noticeable?

No news of any further facelift prior to the end of the model from Pinley House's press office.

but the £20 a year to £0 road tax is a bit more noticeable. Makes my gas conversion more expensive to tax.

Well, the current car is also £0 for the first year, £20 thereafter, so no change there.

Virtually every other European country has their free tax bracket set around the 110 mark, so there's little incentive to tweak a motor just for us.

I had to visit the stealers today and took the opportunity to have a look round a smart looking 5 door Sporticus. Very nice, but all they have done is stolen my white mirrors, white trim, and fitted the alloys I'm planning to acquire from a secret source...then charged an extra £4+ K for it!

Bloody copycats
