Over the years I have gathered some useful scanning tools/fault readers like INPA and software for my Z4, a BMW C110 Reader and a cheap generic reader, but after reading some advice on the C1 forums about using a diagnostic tool as a Rev Counter for our basic C1 VT, I've just purchased a ELM327 bluetooth scanner off of eBay for under £4 and have downloaded "Torque Pro" for less than £3 to my android mobile. Result - all my codes, monitors, operating status(revs/water temp etc) available plus a host of other features all of which work on my C1, Z4 and Sportage and so easy. Sorry, I'll calm down now  I imagine everybody else has already got these great tools. :)

as above i have the renault can clip /vauxhall opcom/ x-horse /t300 key programmer and some cheaper ones laying around but have been playing with the launch crp 129 pro not cheap but means 90% of the time i have no need to use the clip/opcom /x-horse unless i have to go into detailed info/programing
