14" Steel wheels, fit 2008 C1
Bought 5 years ago with winter tyres on and used each winter since.
Tyres now need changing, so keeping the alloys on this year!
Usual rust around the edges.
Free if you come and collect them.
7 miles south of Stratford Upon Avon

Apart from the rust - are the wheels 'straight and true' or are there any obvious dents / warping?

Many thanks.

There are no dents or bends in the rims you can see.

I would not like to guarantee they are 100% “straight and true” though as they have been used on rural Warwickshire potholed roads.

Obviously you would take off the weights currently on them and re balance with new tyres?

Two tyres are about 1mm, 2 are at about 2mm - hence why they are not going back on.

When I fitted a set of alloys and new tyres to my 107 I sold my old steel wheels and original Continental tyres for £ 50. Not sure how much tread depth was still on the tyres as I never checked but assume still plenty as car had only done 14,166 miles.

If anything they may have suffered from cracks around the edges due to age but again I never checked.

Are you suggesting I am looking to sell too cheap (free) or too expensive (I should pay someone to take them away) ?

I am confused!

All best wishes

Aha

In which case I would be delighted for anyone to take them off my hands and make a donation to charity, but ai don’t need any cash for them - 6 years use and they owe me nothing,

If no one wants them I will be contacting the local tip to see if they will take them.

Thanks,

Chris

When my brother helped me fit my alloys and tyres he offered to take the old ones to the tip but I knew they were worth something. New steel wheels aren't cheap either.

Just checked eBay two sold for £ 15 and another for £ 12, collection only...
